We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Business Intelligence and Reporting Analyst to join our innovative Business and Technology Solutions team. You will be working alongside Application and Database Analysts as well as Technical Business Analysts. The role is varied as you will be engaging with all areas of the council, ranging from finance and asset management to consenting, rating, animal control, utilities and customer services. This role is fixed term for 1 year.

We are on a Digital Transformation journey, including an ERP upgrade and online services, making this an exciting opportunity to become a member of our Business and Technology Solutions team, where you can make full use of your Analytics, Reporting and ERP skills.

Key skills include the following:

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards with key performance metrics

• Lead analytical projects related to the Annual Plan and cross group engagement

• Deliver actionable insights from complex datasets, through advanced data analytical techniques

• Collaborate across teams, including IT, to solve data-centric challenges

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through meticulous validation and cleansing processes

• Provide guidance on IT system development to optimise analytics capabilities

• Communicate complex data findings effectively to a variety of stakeholders
