About the Role
We are seeking an Intermediate Water & Wastewater Engineer to support the transition to our new Water Services Unit. This fixed term role will contribute to the delivery of drinking water and wastewater services across the district, supporting capital works, asset management, and compliance with service levels and legislative requirements.
You’ll be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the delivery of water and wastewater services across the district
- Contributing to capital works planning and implementation
- Supporting the delivery of capital works projects
- Assisting with asset management and system improvements
- Ensuring compliance with service levels and legislative requirements
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals
About You
- A degree in Civil, Natural Resource, or related engineering field
- Experience in water and wastewater systems and asset management
- Understanding of local government operations and relevant legislation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
